I ain’t dead, God ain’t done!
How I decided to create a podcast:
Actually, the decision was made for me by divine inspiration. I am 100% convinced this is a mission God assigned to me. I had not even thought about being a podcaster and one day during my morning devotional time, the word “podcast” clearly came to me as though the word had just been spoken to me. Then that very same day, at a women’s meeting, the first person I introduced myself to said she coaches people through developing a podcast! Amazing how God gives you an assignment and then crosses your path with those that can help you turn an idea into a reality!
I turned 70 in 2023. An age that can seem young or old. I choose to still think young. I am a life and health insurance agent with my own agency. I go to several networking events each month. I am most likely to be the oldest person at the event. Sometimes I would ask myself, why are you at this event? I eventually answered myself with, “I ain’t dead, God ain’t done! As long as He gives me what I need, to be able to do what He wants me to do, I’ll do it!
Then I started thinking, how many women 65+ need to hear this message. How many women in this age group have given up on living on purpose in the 4th quarter of life. They are no longer living a full and rewarding life. With these questions in mind, The Age of Possibility was created. The purpose of the podcast is to discuss topics of interest to women 65+ that will empower, encourage, enlighten, or enhance.
How the podcast name and content idea came about:
